nature at its best

after leaving the ladies with the children Ben was able to freely venture around giv'at washington in search of nature.

it took around 2mins to see my first wonder... a white throated kingfisher! i saw 2 more in separate locations!

of course i found the nearest lake and the birds numbers just went crazy. ring necked parakeets and all.

also included in todays catch... laughing dove, hooded crow, tree sparrow, syrian woodpecker, white throated kingfisher, eurasian jay, rose ringed parakeet, common myna, pied wagtail, spur winged plover, cattle egret, lesser kestrel, chiffchaff, bar tailed godwit, rock pigeon, feral pigeon, collared dove, stonechat, chukar, robin, blackbird, jackdaw, short toed snake eagle and spectacled bulbul and a couple of unidentified species! identified bird count = 47
